Built on existing infrastructure

We aim to bring new reliable energy generation, built on efficient infrastructure, to Kershaw County. The project site is adjacent to Timrod and Boise Cascade roads just outside of the Bethune town limits, chosen because of the existing natural gas pipelines, propane pipelines, and electric transmission lines already on the property.

The Project would help provide tax revenue, jobs, and infrastructure such as road improvements to the residents of Bethune and Kershaw County. We are seeking a mutually beneficial relationship between Bethune Energy, the Town of Bethune, local residents, and the South Carolina utilities.

Committed to being a responsible neighbor

Plans for the facility are designed to protect sensitive ecological areas on site.

Preserved Woodlands~30 acres of woodlands being preserved as additional buffer
Wetlands PreservationWith less than 5 acres of wetlands in the entire project area, we are dedicating an additional ~30 acres to protecting the sensitive ecological areas on site
